Texas-Style Chili |

2 lb ground beef -- 1kg
2 onions -- chopped
2 tbsp garlic -- minced
2 tbsp chili powder -- or to taste
2 tsp cumin
water
not/Starch -- optional
1. Brown meat lightly. Optional: drain
fat. Brown the onions in the fat from the meat, then add garlic. Return meat to
pot. Add seasonings and water to cover (barely). Cook 1 hour, adding more water
if necessary.
Note: If the gravy is
not thick enough, add a little not/Starch or other thickener.
